How a Sylvester Stallone Charity Auction Raised $1.2M for Brain Health

Some of the work I’m proudest of has nothing to do with selling cars. Through Vegas Auto Gallery, I’ve been able to turn a passion for rare automobiles into real support for causes that matter — and the clearest example is a charity auction featuring actor Sylvester Stallone that raised more than $1.2 million for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Turning rare cars into real impact

A rare car has a way of bringing people — and resources — together. Partnering with a name like Sylvester Stallone put a spotlight on the cause, and the result was a seven-figure gift to an institution doing critical work on brain health, from Alzheimer’s to Parkinson’s. It’s a model I keep coming back to: use the things that draw attention — the cars, the events, the network — to move money toward people who need it.

More than $2 million given back

That auction is part of a larger commitment. Across charity auctions, donated vehicles and community events, we’ve helped raise more than $2 million for healthcare organizations, youth programs and first responders. We host car shows benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and through our partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation we support after-school programs and family initiatives across the valley. You can see the full picture on our philanthropy and community page.

Why giving back is part of the business

I don’t see philanthropy as separate from the company — it’s part of what the company is for. We’ve become ambassadors for Las Vegas, and that comes with a responsibility to the city that made us. I also mentor young entrepreneurs and fund scholarships for students pursuing business and automotive careers, because the next generation deserves the same shot at building something meaningful.
